AMS Racing is dedicated to setting the standards in progressive
performance. We take each customer to heart and work with
them to develop their special racing individuality.
AMS Racing's innovation led to the special port plates
for a SCCA Formula Ford racer that were beneficial in
setting speed records in 1981 at Texas World Speedway
in College Station. AMS Racing was also one of the innovators
in scrapers and oil pan design for the MG 948cc SCCA
car racing.
For the drag racing competition eliminator, AMS Racing
perfected the strategic cooling that has made our one-
four class engines some of the most powerful. Using
polymer films technology, AMS Racing provided the #1
qualifier at the Fram Nationals in Houston with a .61
under performance.
In recent years, AMS Racing has provided the most consistent
power and engine technology for some winning Bracket,
Super category, and SUPR dirt champs. The balance of
new technology with reliability and tuning makes AMS
Racing engines consistent in the winners circle. The
special products and engine combos that AMS Racing has
perfected are available for Chevys, Pontiacs, Chrysler,
and Fords.
