MACHINE SHOP SERVICES


AMS Racing's Machine Shop offers a full range of stock, performance, and industrial machining. AMS Racing is the most complete and up-to-date machine shop in the South. Our commitment to quality and precision machining gets the results that our customers deserve.

Our block department uses a Rottler FA2AB to bore the blocks and cylinders with alignment to the main bearing bores while using torque plates on top of the blocks. In the deck tru operation, we use a Storm-Vulcan Blockmaster along with a full BHJ BLOCK-TRU fixture.

The Balancing department at AMS Racing is complete with a Hines hard bearing balancer and a smaller Balance Technology balancer. From gas porting, piston lightning, and piston flycutting, the AMS crew have special fixtures to make every machining operation accurate.

The crankshaft department of AMS Racing is one of the leaders in innovation. They have the capabilities of welding and stroking a crankshaft core for a custom application. Stroker kits are sold for the different variety of applications.

With aluminum heads BRODIX, DART, EDELBROCK and others being popular, AMS Racing has the capabilities of complete head shop.

The SUPERFLOW DYNO of AMS Racing is used after final assembly to record and test the engine for peak performance. This insures each customer gets a custom engine that's reliable and powerful.
